I think sun protective clothing is the coolest clothing invention to date. As someone who is ashamed by how little I remember to wear sunscreen, I should really be donning more protective pieces.
I own a few of Lilly Pulitzer's UPF 50+ Sophie dresses, so I kind of knew what to expect; nonetheless, I was thrilled to try out Cabana Life's version. Their clothes block 98% of UVA/UVB rays, offering extra protection on the sunniest of days. The material fared well with me -- it was thicker and silkier than the Sophie dress. The fit, however, was not as forgiving as Lilly's, though not by much.
My love for accessories made of natural materials has only grown since last spring. It seems as if every single store I step into has an abundance of straw bags and raffia sandals. I picked up this Topshop bag and these straw sandals last month, both of which have proved to be summer staples.
