I'm switching things up this week, and instead of featuring one outfit, I wanted to share two looks that I've been loving. Initially, I'd wanted to share more of each look, but due to a photography snafu, I only have one good picture of each outfit.
I've never been one for minidresses, yet I definitely didn't expect to embrace midi dresses. Most dresses fall longer on me than the model because I'm significantly shorter, but for some odd reason, I feel like they elongate my legs. Don't I look taller than 5' 5" here and here, too?
As you all know, I'm obsessed with Kate Spade dresses. I've been buying several a month, and I'm at no risk of slowing down. My latest buy was this voluminous frock, which made me wish I was instantly transported to the South, when in reality, there is still snow on the ground.
My fashion goal for this spring is to wear more gingham. It's obviously a very popular pattern for lots of women, but I only just got around to loving it. In the past, all gingham just looked the same to me, so I wasn't interested. But I'm seeing a plenty of twists and colorways this season, like this top, and I'm all for it!
There were so many details that made me fall for this top: the crochet, the bell sleeves, the peplum. It just screams spring! My Kate Spade straw bag went perfectly with the top. I completely fell in love with Kate Spade's new Sam bags -- I also picked up this floral one. I've been switching back and forth between these bags, my two latest seasonal additions.
