A FLORAL FÊTE
I'm currently patiently waiting for spring to come around and the sun to come out and stay for good, but spring has arrived on the blog! When I spotted this dress in January, I wasn't sure if I wanted to splurge and get it, but since I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks, I finally pulled the trigger. It's more than I would usually spend on a piece of clothing, but it's absolutely gorgeous in person and I know it'll be a piece that I'll be reaching for constantly for fancy brunches and teas.
I love all the colorful details on it -- makes it so much easier to accessorize! Though most of my shoes and bags are of the lighter variation, I think it'd be so fun to whip out a red or blue bag to bring out those colors in the dress.
I picked up this Prada bag in Vienna and this was actually the first time I wore it out. I was initially searching for the nude version, but this light blush shade caught my eye. It's such a classic, luxurious bag -- the leather is so buttery soft.
To me, a light pink bag is equally as versatile as a nude one. I just find the pink options more youthful and most importantly, don't blend in with my skin tone as much as the nude shades.
I love a cute pair of shoes just as much as the next girl, but comfort has always been an issue for me. I always forget to break in my shoes at home and end up with cuts and blisters that are no fun. Paul Green is known for their miraculously comfortable footwear. Some of their styles strike me as dated, but every once in a while, I find a pair that's chic, like this pair. I also love these for a more casual option.
I discovered the brand a few years ago when I needed a pair of black heeled booties and was blown away by the quality and comfort. I wish they expanded their shoe styles because everyone, even 20-year-olds, need comfy shoes!
