SPARKLY IN SAN FRANCISCO

The moment I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it. It was everything that I can never resist: pink, sparkles, and delicate fabric. This would've made for the perfect birthday dress, but I wanted to wear it out in San Francisco first.

I paired this romantic dress with accessories in the same color family for a cohesive look without going full monochromatic. I picked up these nude bow heels when I was in Vienna, but they're still available! I own several pairs of nude pumps, but these are definitely one of my favorite pairs. Ferragamo's signature bow is demure enough, yet lend a feminine touch.

Since I was only back in California for a week, I wanted to squeeze in as much as possible. We headed out to San Francisco a few days after Christmas and to my delight, there was no fog! For those of you who have visited San Francisco before, it was most likely chilly, foggy, and windy, regardless of the season. It was such a treat to enjoy the city and the Golden Gate Bridge in all its beauty.

I may have grown up in the Bay Area, but it really wasn't until I left home that I truly began to appreciate my hometown. It truly is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and I'm still in awe of the majesty of San Francisco's every time I'm there.

I originally wanted this pink suede clutch, but this mini handbag goes with more things in my wardrobe. Mansur Gavriel has been a brand that's been on my radar for a while. I'm hesitant to spring for pricier items from new-to-me brands, but after they debuted their ready-to-wear collection last Fashion Week, I couldn't resist. I picked up the mini version of their signature circle bag and a classic bucket bag, which I felt like suited me best. I'm enjoying my newest additions to my handbag collection and I might just have to treat myself to some of their luxe sweaters and coats soon.

My coat is an oldie but goodie from Club Monaco. I'm actually starting my coat collection from scratch (well, almost...I only brought over three coats from California). I don't want to spend a fortune on them, so I was thrilled to discover that Topshop has the greatest selection of budget-friendly coats. I'm the type of girl who likes to have a coat in every single color, and that's definitely achievable now.

Every once in a while, an outfit comes together so perfectly that if makes me feel like a fairy princess (I'm a 5 year-old at heart!). And honestly, in this star-studded tulle number, who wouldn't?
