Over the past few weeks, breezy dresses and chiffon tops have been at the forefront of my closet. And I don't mind it one bit.

It's been an unbelievably stressful time of year (when is it not though?) and one of the things that I do to relieve that stress is, you guessed it, retail therapy. I'm fully aware that it's not the most responsible way to cope, but hey, feeling my best translates well for me.

My mom accompanied me on my latest spree, and she was the one who actually picked out this dress.

Mom knows best!

I'm usually not a fan of off-the-shoulder, strapless, or honestly, anything that's doesn't at least have spaghetti straps. That's why I was all the more surprised that I just fell in love with how the dress looked once I had it on. I'm also loving this shirt dress version.

You can never go wrong with blue and white, a timeless chic combo. I love sporting these colors in the summertime because they remind me of sunny days at the beach.
