You know those pieces that you see and it just seems like it was made for you? When I saw this Ted Baker dress online, I ordered it without a second thought. The embroidery detail along the sheer neckline was just too stunning to pass up.
Ted Baker has always created the prettiest of dresses. I consistently turn to this brand for polished and feminine dresses, and they deliver every time. The styles, fabrics, and silhouettes remind me of many of Kate Middleton's dresses. She's one of my favorite fashion icons and regularly looks effortlessly elegant and graceful. I think we can all take some style advice from a Duchess!
I already think fit and flare styles are the most flattering, but throw in cap sleeves, and I'm sold. I have a plethora of sleeveless dresses, so I've been working on building up my collection of dresses with various sleeve lengths. I've been eyeing this dress and this dress, too!
Recently, pink and black has been my go-to fail-proof color combo. I like that pink offers a fresher look than the classic black and white. And speaking of new loves, how darling are these Jimmy Choo ankle booties? I purchased them last fall when I saw them through the golden Jimmy Choo windows. I've owned several pairs of ankle boots before and never liked them until this pair. I didn't have a chance to wear them in a blog post earlier and unfortunately, they are now sold out. These have basically been the only pair of boots I wore throughout fall and winter. They are unbelievably comfortable -- you can literally walk 5 miles in these before your feet begin to hurt, I tried. I even brought them to New York and wore them in the snow (terrible idea on my part), got them ruined, and I had to take them in to get cleaned up and repaired. But now they're as good as before and I hope they'll last several years.
I purchased this Kate Spade coat in New York last month, and I've already worn it out so many times. I adore how the scallops pop against the dress (or really, anything I wear under). It's such a playful touch. I originally wanted the pink version, of course, but it was sold out. But I'm loving this black version, and I'll tell you this: this coat is going to be staying out on my coat rack all season long.
