PINK FLAMINGOS

There are handfuls of clothing patterns and details that I simply can't resist: scallops, florals, lace, and as of late, flamingos. I've always looked to Kate Spade and Lilly Pulitzer to deliver on incorporating this cheery pink bird into their pieces, but it seems like RED Valentino is quite the fan of this animal, too.

I scooped up this dress when I spotted it at the RED Valentino store in San Francisco. I'm so glad that we have a brick and mortar store in the area where I can go in and browse and try on items rather than just getting everything shipped to my house. I feel like in this day and age, I get more satisfaction doing things in person versus online.

Since I wore this dress to run around town, I dressed it down with this cardigan and some wedges. I actually ended up leaving my cardigan in the car because the weather was just too beautiful -- a perfect 70 degree day.

I purchased these wedges last week for an upcoming trip, but I couldn't resist not wearing them beforehand! I've owned Soludos shoes in the past, though these might be my favorite pair to date. These wedges are incredibly comfortable and the natural linen will match so much of my spring and summer wardrobe.

I love this dress for the warm months to come -- only 3 more weeks until spring! Who's excited? It's been raining so much in California that I've gotten my money's worth wearing my Hunters day in and day out. Any chance I get to not wear waterproof pieces, I've been taking full advantage of.

In the daytime, I personally love dressing up but keeping the footwear and outerwear a tad more casual, just like this look. This dress, with the bold flamingo print, definitely fits the casual and semi-formal events that I usually attend, and I already have it lined up for multiple upcoming occasions.

I'd also like to announce the luck winner of this beautiful Kate Spade handbag: Dani Ramirez!
